Your Voice still alive
Salai Z T Lian
His voice for freedom is still melodious
Though the person said goodbye to the world
This man is Salai John Ceu Cung Nung.

Oh, my Dear John…you have done many graceful things
And lived meaningfully during your time
Was it the purpose of your life?

As your poem, the dogs still dare not scream
And every body still lives in fear
So your voice for freedom keeps ringing.

Your voice for democracy
On Yangon’s streets still flourishing
Like Irrawaddy River.

Till the Chinland claims unity
And the Burma needed to change
Your voice of unity and change remain.

(This poem is dedicated to Salai John Ceu Cung Nung who passed away on 28/8/2009 in Malaysia)
